All you need to know about the Flotilla IoT Reporting Module

Flotilla IoT is a new age fleet management system made by keeping the market’s evolving needs in mind. It comes with a wide range of modules that cover all the aspects of operations. Whether you talk about live GPS tracking or fuel management, Flotilla IoT covers it all. Due to this reason, it is a leading name in the telematics industry.

Flotilla IoT’s reporting module is one of the most effective ones because it offers complete operational analytics. In this blog, we will discuss it in detail.

What is Flotilla IoT Reporting Module?

The Flotilla IoT reporting module is a comprehensive mechanism providing users valuable data insights and analytics. It offers different types of templates for reporting to gauge the various operational aspects. You can generate reports for Staff (drivers), Units (vehicles), and Groups (multiple vehicles). Users can also download and email reports. This module helps managers check the performance and identify the issues in operations.

The user can select the time duration for which they want to report. There are various available duration options like Yesterday, 7 Days, 30 Days, This Month, and Last Month. The users can also set custom duration by selecting the required time and dates. Flotilla IoT’s reporting module allows the user to set the days and time for receiving reports. They can also make exemptions of the days and time as per requirements. Thus, the users can create custom reports according to their needs.

Types of Reports:

In the Flotilla IoT fleet management system, the user can create two types of reports against all templates. They are as follows:

Summary Reports:

They summarize the data and compile a report on it. Although much information is exempted in these reports, the users get its overview. For example, a summary trip report includes the total trip distance and duration of a vehicle instead of several trips’ details.

Detailed Reports:

The detailed reports show data in an elaborate form. It includes all the intricate details to provide more in-depth insights to the user. For example, a detailed summary report provides information about all the trips made by a vehicle with date, time, starting and ending points, speed, etc.

Report Templates:

Flotilla IoT fleet management system offers many reporting templates to help users monitor and analyze various aspects of operations. They are discussed in detail below:

Trip Report:

The trip reports provide information about the trips taken by a vehicle. It includes details like the trip duration, distance, average speed, max speed starting/ending time, and address.

Stops Report:

It includes the details about the stops made by a specific unit along with the total ignition time. The idling time is not included in this report. The detailed stop report also shows the start and end time of the halt.

Engine Hour Report:

It includes details like total engine running duration along with idling and movement time. The detailed report also consists of the unit name, driver name, average speed, distance, start/end dates, and addresses.

Fuel Report:

It includes the details about the fuel consumption of various vehicles like overall count, refill count/volume, drainage count/volume, and duration. The detailed reports also contain the unit/driver name, address, time, start/end level.

Event Report:

It includes information about the occurrence of the events created by users. The summary reports show the overall count of a specific event. The detailed event reports contain the unit name, driver name, event name, address, time, and details. If you create an event of geo-fence entry, the detailed report will tell the exact time and entry address.

Geo-fence Report:

It includes the details about a unit’s geo-fence activities. The summary reports include geo-fence name, distance covered, number of visits, duration, average speed, max speed. Detailed reports contain more discreet details like unit name, driver name, entry place, exit place, entry time, and entry place.

Eco-Driving Report:

It includes the details about driving from the perspective of eco-friendliness. The extreme speeding, average speed, max speed, count, distance, duration, idle time, and penalty is shown in the summary report. The detailed reports also include driver name, unit name, violation type, start address, end address, start time, and end time.

Sensor Report:

The sensor report shows the details about sensor activity, including the total count of the sensor activation and speed. The detailed report includes other information like unit name, driver name, address, time, sensor name, sensor value, and formatted value.

Notifications:

Flotilla IoT fleet management system allows user to set notification reminders for reports. These notification alerts can be sent via web pop-ups, mobile pop-ups, email, and SMS. They help fleet managers to view all the reports timely to get better control over operations.

The Flotilla IoT vehicle tracking system’s reporting module help managers get useful data insights. It offers detailed analytics that facilitates companies to rectify their flaws and achieve efficiency. Due to this reason, it is one of the most popular modules among clients.
